Nos Regions Ont Du Talent Pomelos de Corse (x2)
Le pomelo, né d’une hybridation naturelle entre un pamplemoussier et un oranger, est le seul agrume à ne pas être originaire d’Asie, mais des Antilles. Dans les vergers européens, c’est un tout jeune agrume. Il a été implanté en Corse dans les années 1990 avec la variété à chair rouge Star Ruby - La culture des agrumes en Corse est très ancienne, l’ensoleillement et la douceur hivernale de la plaine orientale ont favorisé les cultures agrumicoles depuis l’Antiquité. Le pomelo de Corse est un fruit sans pépin, à peau de couleur jaune pouvant présenter une tâche de couleur orangé-rouge sur la surface du fruit. Sa peau est lisse et fine. Sa chair est de couleur rose à rouge pourpre. Il est très juteux. Son goût est parfumé et sucré, avec quelques notes d’acidité, mais sans présence d’amertume.
