Raclette is a firm salted cheese made from cow's milk. The cheese originated in the Swiss canton of Valais, but is today also produced in the French regions of Savoie and Franche-Comté. The cheese comes in to its own when heated and the full nutty, sweet and slightly fruity aroma is intensified, combined with the molten texture it makes a delicious winter meal. It is traditionally eaten with charcuterie and potatoes.

The cheese is creamy and full of flavour that you require with raclette. It cooks superbly (we also used the rind) and it was as a good raclette cheese should be. It was delivered with a cooling bag, really well packed and via DPD hour slot. I will reorder.
