ORIGINE
La fraise des bois est une petite baie écarlate qui pousse dans l'atmosphère tranquille des sous-bois. Cette espèce de fraise fragile a un parfum et une saveur plus délicats que toute autre fraise. Elle a longtemps été très appréciée en Europe avant d'être largement remplacée par la fraise de culture, qui porte des fruits plus gros qui se conservent plus longtemps. La fraise des bois est intensément parfumée et est toujours considérée par les gourmets comme un fruit délicat.
