The unpasteurized milk gives this raclette a fuller flavour. Raclette is a firm salted cheese made from cow's milk. The cheese originated in the Swiss canton of Valais, but is today also produced in the French regions of Savoie and Franche-Comté. The cheese comes in to its own when heated and the full nutty, sweet and slightly fruity aroma is intensified, combined with the molten texture it makes a delicious winter meal. It is traditionally eaten with charcuterie and potatoes.

The packaging on the product was open (small hole) on delivery. The taste is not quite raclette cheese, it is actually quite bland. I will not buy this again.
