How to cook: oven or pan fry, skin-side down first, to your personal taste. Chef recommends about 25 minutes for crispy skin and nutty brown colour.
Chef's suggestion: eat with a dressed green salad for a perfect light lunch, or with roasted potatoes for the ideal mid-week supper.

Tried this on recommendation of one of the staff at French Click . Was very disappointed and will not be buying this one again . Have been buying Confit de Canard for years now and had noticed that there was as much Skin as there was meet . And although I cook that separately till it is crisp I felt the manufactures are putting more skin in each tin to save money at our expense . Have ordered three different tins of Confit and will report on each of them. I know there will be a difference between brands and you do get what to pay for but we will see !
